Fosters Ace Auto Repairs

Fosters Ace Auto Repairs have been servicing Townsville since 1977.

Fosters Ace Auto Repairs are a locally owned mechanical workshop, operated by a husband and wife team, Shaun and Sharon. We are proud to say that we are already the second generation of the Fosters family running this business. Our reputation is based on our honesty and reliability and we have built (and continue building) close relationships with our customers and suppliers alike.

Our auto repairs workshop in Aitkenvale is fully equipped with the latest diagnostic tools to thoroughly check all aspects of your vehicle. Thanks to our connections in the trade, we can also accommodate the majority of special requests. We guarantee we never ever start any work without
your authorisation!

We are also very passionate about the local community and get involved in many charity projects. One project that is especially close to our hearts is the annual Variety Bash. Steve Foster, the previous and original owner of Fosters Ace Auto Repairs, has been attending this event for many years.

Variety Bash is Australia's most successful charity motoring event. The Bash is not a race or a rally. Instead, we visit local schools and organisations in regional parts of Australia that have been helped by Variety in the past. That way, all 'Bashers' can see directly what difference their fundraising efforts make to disadvantaged kids. The trip usually lasts around 7 days and apart from school visits, there's also lots of other entertainment along the way - themed nights, games etc.

To enter the Bash, your car has to be at least 30 years old and mechanically sound. At Fosters Ace Auto Repairs, we've had a few cars over the years, but since 2007 it has been the EH

Holden. The 'Old Girl', as she's affectionately called, has so far completed every bash she's entered without a hitch. Probably her biggest claim to fame is when she flew over the Big Red west of Birdsville, leaving bogged 4WDs in her dust.

If you'd like more information about the Variety Bash, or are considering becoming a "Basher" to raise money for sick, disadvantaged and special needs children, don't hesitate to call Steve on 0408 000 583.
